About 2 years ago, a YouTuber named LEMMiNO released a 30min documentary called ยซ The Search for D. B. Cooper ยป. It's wonderfully done and it lays out all the information you need to know about the case. I remember this doc being quite captivating. It's straight to the point and, again, very well made. In a nutshell, it's everything this boring nearly 3-hour long tedious Netflix version is not.

Couldn't there be a computer model with all the specs of that day put in, and seeing the landing area ? May be he was in the plane ? Don't know the exact jumping spot, as it's based on changing of pressure in the plain. may it was staff ? 30 min documentary on YouTube talked about more facts than this, at the end just to know that nobody knows.

This is basically about a team of old men (none of whom come off as likable), harassing another old man who was once a suspect in the D. B. Cooper sky caper. The first episode is actually decent, as it discusses the D. B. Cooper phenomenon and shows a glimpse of people's reactions in the 70's. Then the docuseries takes a nosedive into sloppy filmmaking, and endless possibly maybe theories. Some people can make a remarkable discovery, like Robert Ballard who found the sunken Titanic. And others just waste your time by pretending they actually did something because of all the time and manpower that was supposedly put into finding something "groundbreaking". After watching this drivel, you'll shrug your shoulders and forget about it before eating your next meal.

Colbert is insufferable to watch, stubborn conspiracy theorist with tunnel vision. Unfortunately I'm sure he got paid for this. Wish they focused more the other theories.

I love true crime documentaries, and I was looking forward to watching this one, hoping I would learn more about the infamous D. B. Cooper. But I expected much more from this documentary than getting a lot of opinionated people saying whether they think they know who D. B. Cooper was, or not, and that's what it really comes down to. This is not surprising since there aren't many known details about the case apparently, let alone tangible evidence, but then why drag this on for four episodes, two of which are not even about the person in the title, but some private investigators who claim to have "so much evidence", and fail to present any? Disappointing.

They just talk about everything and anything, and none of it is relevant. Imagine the money they spent on researching this bs.. I cannot believe they squeeezed 3*43min episodes out of this. They were grasping.

I'll give this story two things: Cooper didn't kill anybody and everyone loves an unsolved mystery. I realize some young people don't know this story and find it fascinating. Most of the rest of us have heard it over and over and there is nothing new added. I did my housecleaning with this on and didn't miss anything even while vacuuming. So little time was wasted. Whoever does Darren Schaefer's hair is a bigger criminal.

4 episodes in which the D. B. Cooper actual story gets about 10-15 minutes. The rest of this tiring series is about the obsession of a man (Tom Colbert) and his team in accusing a man (Rackstraw) of the crime. Whether they are right or not gets lost in wrong tactics, harrasment and forced conclusions and by the end, as a viewer you only have the feeling of "just let it go already". Searches with metal detectors with idiotic background music, connecting numbers with names, conventions that remind flat earth ones and many elements that could have been a youtube video, not a 4 part documentary. Not even entertaining to watch.

This is just about a bunch of guys hooked on an opinion on who DBCooper is. The worst thing about it is the harrassement of Mr. Robert Rackstraw. What an utter embarassement!

As do the morons harassing Mr. Rackstraw, a now older guy who turned his life around a long time ago. This is bottom of the barrel tabloid TV. It's nothing similar to a legitimate documentary.
